Underfloor Heating
Underfloor heating systems (including connectors and fittings) installed within the screed must not penetrate the resilient layer or bridge the screen to the slab.
Underfloor heating systems which have a supporting layer / board may be laid on top of the Regupol E48.
Contact underfloor heating manufacturer for guidance on the appropriate screed depth cover for the heating systems.
Service Penetrations
Service pipes should be wrapped in min 25mm mineral wool quilt (min 10kg/m3).
Pipes should be boxed in with two layers of gypsum-based board, each layer nominal 8kg/m2.
All voids around pipes should be adequately sealed.
